Professional Chiropractic Services is looking for a part-time Office Assistant with room to grow into a full-time Office Manager role.

Ideal candidate has a health and wellness passion; positive attitude; excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal; strong interpersonal skills and compassion for patients; and the ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively. Proficient computer skills are required for this position.

Daily tasks include:
– Answering telephone calls
– Greeting patients
– Scheduling and confirming appointments
-Managing confidential patient and business records
– Verifying insurance benefits
– Processing patients’ insurance claims
– Handling billing and accounts receivable
– Preparing and making daily bank deposits
– Managing inventory and product ordering.

This role is vital to our small office. Candidates should be ready and able to anticipate doctor and patient needs during office down-time, and expect to utilize problem solving skills on a daily basis independently and efficiently.

We are looking for a candidate to begin working alongside our current office manager in order to cross-train starting in April, and to begin working independently in June. Office hours are Monday – Thursday, and the morning of the first Saturday of the month. Training hours are flexible; we are willing to make reasonable accommodations for your current schedule as we move through this transition.

College degree preferred, PPO insurance billing experience a bonus. We are prepared to train the right individual from outside the healthcare office profession. Weekly hours after training estimated at 32. This position is hourly, with pay starting at $18/hour DOE.

Office located in beautiful downtown Kirkland, with employee off-street parking under/alongside the building. We are within walking distance to downtown parks and waterfront views, if you want to spend your lunch break outside. Office culture is relaxed and friendly, but professional appearance is required as this position has constant contact with patients.
